Introduction

I have played Silkroad Online for many years in the past. I played on both official and private servers. I always wanted to open my own private server. And also I am a system administrator in real life.
Howerver, I stopped playing Silkroad a few years ago. Reasons being little time to play, the game becoming pay2win. Old gameplay is gone in favor of things that are just not as good as they were back in the golden era of Silkroad.
In spring 2020, came Covid-19 and quarantine time. I had plenty of time to finally work on this project. And I opened the Silkroad server I have always dreamed of. I hope You will like it just like I do.
Keep in mind that I am a one man team and I do not have the same level of resources that professional teams do. I also work a full time 9-5 job and I work on this Silkroad server in my free time. But the server hardware is powerful, it is located in the cloud so it has good network and is very reliable. Also I can easily scale up cloud hardware if player count dictates a more powerful server.
Now enough of the technical talk. With this server I aim for a good community and a gameplay experience similar to the old Silkroad Online. Have a nice time!
